Rates & costs

Every number, in one place

Everything the lender, CreditCube, charges — nothing rounded down or held back until the last screen.

This is an expensive form of borrowing. Compare it with a credit card, a credit union loan, or a payment plan with the biller first.

These loans are designed for short-term needs such as an emergency repair or an unexpected bill. They are not a long-term financial solution.

Funding

When the money arrives

Standard funding

Applications approved before 3:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday, are typically funded the next business day. Deposit times vary by bank.

Real-Time Funding

Real-Time Funding (RTF) can deliver the money in as little as 30 minutes, if your bank supports instant transfers.

Weekends and holidays

On weekends and holidays, Real-Time Funding is available only for applications that are auto-approved.

If a payment fails

Late and returned payments

What can be charged

A late fee may be charged when a payment is not received by its due date. The amount is set out in your loan agreement.

A non-sufficient funds or returned item fee may be charged when a scheduled payment does not clear. The amount is set out in your loan agreement.

A missed or returned payment can trigger a late fee and a non-sufficient funds fee, and your bank may charge its own overdraft fee on top.

What to do

Contact CreditCube before your due date if you cannot pay. Support: 1-888-885-5646 or support@creditcube.com. If debt is a recurring problem rather than a one-off gap, a nonprofit credit counsellor at nfcc.org is a better first call than another loan.

CreditCube: 1-888-885-5646, support@creditcube.com, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST.

Cost control

How to lower what this costs you

  • Pay it off early

There is no prepayment penalty. Clearing the balance early removes every remaining interest charge.

  • Make extra payments

Anything paid between due dates reduces the balance interest accrues on, so the total falls.

  • Borrow only what you need

At these rates, every extra hundred dollars is expensive. The smallest amount that solves the problem is the cheapest one.

Licensing

The lender's licence and ordinance

CreditCube is a tribal enterprise of the Big Valley Band of Pomo Indians, a sovereign government. Your loan agreement is governed by tribal and, where applicable, federal law. The laws of your state of residence do not apply to it, and all communications and transactions are deemed to occur on tribal land.
